But does doing that make your iPhone SIM no longer work in your iPhone? I just want to be able to use my iPhone SIM in the iPad as I please so I don't have to tether using MyWi all the time. (This is for an iPad 2 by the way.)
I don't think that's possible anymore.
MyWi with on demand is very convenient and does not use that much battery.

Actually, a lot of companies are moving tech support and other back-office operations to India. A lot of the Indian techs will watch Friends and other American shows so they can keep a conversation up if a caller is chatty. They even make up fictitious lives in case somebody asks about their personal life.
It's actually not that different from when a lot of back-office operations were in Ireland.

one airport express is enough. just plug it in the wall and plug in the speaker's jack. than set the airport to create a wireless network. the light will flash amber because the AE knows that you haven't plugged in an Ethernet cable so it can't connect to the Internet, but you can just ignore it.
join the just created network with your MBP and/or your iPhone and use AirPlay to stream music to the speakers. you could even use your iOs device to control iTunes on your Mac via Apple's remote app.

The recruitment seminar is really relaxed and you will get through it as long as you be yourself, engage with the recruiters and other people there and ask plenty of questions at the end regarding the job. Don't come over too much as a hardcore Apple fanboy but talk about how much you can't put down your iPhone/iPod. During the group exercises, make sure you try and come over as a good leader but good team player at the same time - make sure that your ideas are part of the main focus but be sure to agree with ideas that you wish you though of. Otherwise, just enjoy it as it's really relaxed and you will spend most of the two and a half hours watching a presentation, videos and doing some group exercises. They get through hundreds of CV's at a time and to get the chance to be considered is a good achievement. Just out of interest, what store are you thinking of joining and what position are you after?

Dear All ,
I have Macbook , come Dark on backlight , i change inverter but still same problem .
and when fix inverter cable to the inverter the normal disply comes back once , like only plug and unplg , ineed to knwo the problem from logic borad , or from other think .
Pls see this video , of this problem .

It wasn't because of that line.
I was finally able to check that and your are CORRECT it wasn't that line - I found that the reason it didn't work was that I had $webmaster and $email set to the same email address and something didn't like that... case closed.

Nice noob response. :p Anyone who regularly listens to music uses playlists and rotates the music from their computer to their iPods. At any one time, no one is going to listen to their entire 20GB worth of music. They are more likely to use smart playlists and shuffle among them.
coming from someone who listens to music almost constantly, i have to disagree. i have a 20+ GB library and i make playlists based on the entire library. in other words they wouldn't fit on a nano. i like hearing a mix of my favorites along with new stuff.

Yeah i have :) it doesnt. Its a cheap 15" analogue TFT from about 3 years ago.
I think i've got enough desk space for another 15".. might look into that. One with DVI, as that would be cool when i'm writing music :D

I didn't pay for the computer!!! it was given to me. I am giving the parents the eMac because xp is just a tad harder than os x ;) I also need a pc for a required computer class. I need to be able to take tests and stuff at home. I yes, I am going to switch back when the mac mini features a one of those intel mobile chips with low wattage.

I've had my iBook for about 2 months now and i love it. i absolutely love it. my PC has never been so neglected :)
I have only one small problem with it and thats the keyboard layout. And its not what you think, its got nothing to do with the cmd, alt or ctrl keys, i've gotten so used to them, that i sometimes press Alt V on my windows machine instead of Ctrl V. :)
My gripe lies with the implementation of the British Keyboard layout. (yes we use our own different layout :) )
Basically this keyboard is layed out like a std US keyboard with the � on top of the 3. To my british trained fingers lots of keys are in the wrong place, for instance
@ is on top of the 2, rather than on top of '
" is on top of ' instead of on top of 2
Euro is alt2 instead of alt4
# is alt 3 instead of being on the mid right hand side of the keyboard.
Its not a big deal (except that when i needed to use keycaps the first time i wanted to use #, and i miss having � off the main keyboard) as my fingers are now used to this keyboard and automatically remember the correct layout when i use another computer. I still love my iBook, and the only way you get it away from me is to pry it from my cold dead fingers, or to replace it with a G5 PowerBook :)

my current ipod has a bunch of song on it that I ripped from cds (okay, and a few illegal downloads). However, that was two computers ago, so I'd have to re-rip the music, provided I still have it.
I can't seem to add the ripped stuff to my itunes on my current computer. I think it has something to do with copy rights, but it could also be b/c I don't know enough about macs.
Is there some way I can transfer those songs to my iTunes? I've heard that some people know how to do it.

I'd love to see an end to this question. With every new firmware release this question is posted. Can I still restore to the previous firmware since a new firmware came out today?
Well, why don't YOU try it and find out the answer to that question?
The worst that will happen is you will be denied the restore to that firmware if you don't have an SHSH on file for it already.
This isn't rocket science. The slightest bit of research would turn up this information.
Maybe they are not at a computer where they can try?
